Queens University of Charlotte Nursing students have an interest in the sciences and possess the physical and emotional strength to tackle the everyday challenges within healthcare. We offer rich opportunities for personal and professional development through courses in the humanities as well as nursing. Our program offers three tracks: BSN (traditional track); ABSN (accelerated, second degree track) and RN-BSN (online, accelerated degree completion).
During the second semester of the second year of study, you will apply to the upper division nursing program. Qualified freshmen will automatically be reviewed for eligibility for our Direct Admit option, which means conditional admission into the pre-licensure program, bypassing the competitive admission application process. As a nursing student, you will complete clinical courses in the areas of basic and advanced medical-surgical nursing, maternity, pediatrics and community health nursing.
