Overview

You'll have many choices in courses under topics like the gendered body, the intersectionaliities of gender, race, class, sexuality, and transnational perspectives on gender. To fulfill the senior comprehensive requirement, you'll give a presentation of your senior research paper to gender and women’s studies faculty and students.

The Saint Mary's College Gender and Women's Studies majors complete their advanced writing proficiency by writing a senior research paper in an independent study capstone course, taken in the fall of the senior year. The paper is a continuation of the research begun in a feminist methodologies course, taken in the spring of junior year.
