Overview

In the Psychology program at York College of Pennsylvania, our professors and students are a close-knit group, in part because you’ll frequently work alongside your professors on research projects that help you make evidence-based decisions. That kind of decision-making skill? It’s highly attractive to future employers, which is why it suffices to say psychology is an extremely employable degree. You get the benefit of scientific method training with the art of understanding human behavior. And you’ll be taught by published faculty, not graduate assistants.

We focus on getting you into the field with internships and research work so you can practice what you’ve learned in the classroom. When you graduate, careers in counseling, schools, health care agencies, therapy and more, as well as graduate studies, are all possibilities.
