Overview

We don’t waste time getting you involved in doing projects. There’s so much to learn about being a mechanical engineer, and you’ll find that at the Mechanical Engineering program from York College of Pennsylvania, you learn by doing. We require students to do a three-semester co-op where you’ll work full time — fantastic real world experience plus income to boot.

Students love our large-scale capstone design projects too. Recent projects have included an automated greenhouse, formula-style and off-road race cars, automated bike rental station and drones to help farmers monitor their land. The Mechanical Engineering program at York College is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET.
