Understanding economics is understanding a major pillar in the mechanics of how the world works. The goal is to help you understand how institutions are philosophically managed, so you can operate effectively in your career.

If finance is understanding the numbers, economics is understanding the mechanism that creates those numbers. Not simply looking at the transactional nature of business, but the factors that make a business. What is the relationship between goods, services, and consumers? How have they created wealth?

This Economics program at Concordia University Irvine aims to enhance your understanding of economics and its relationship between people and entities, creation and consumption, the regional and the global. Complete the online application.
Submit a transcript from each secondary and post-secondary school attended, current through the time of application. High School transcripts will be considered official only when sent through the mail in a sealed envelope or hand-carried to Concordia University Irvine in a sealed envelope.
All non-US equivalent transcripts must arrive with a certified English evaluation and translation documenting your coursework, examinations taken, grades received, passing and maximum marks, and evidence of secondary school graduation.
If you attended high school outside of the USA, your transcript must be evaluated by one of the members of NACES.
The student must submit scores from one of the following standardized tests: Duolingo, SAT, ACT, TOEFL, IELTS.
