In this Animation program from Lipscomb University you'll grow your creative skills under some of the most prominent animators in the U.S., including Tom Bancroft and John Pomeroy.

Art is everywhere you look. It is your creative expression of the human experience. It is whatever your mind can imagine. This department is here to teach you the skills to produce creations that can be appreciated for their intellect, visual impact, and emotional power.

Capstone Projects

Animation students take two capstone courses. Capstone I is designed to allow students continued time to develop and process their senior thesis short film; this course is primarily for the animation phase.

Capstone II is the final phase of the senior project and career preparation where students focus on the postproduction of their senior thesis short film including final editing and rendering, reel updates, self-promotional support opportunities such as competitions and film/animation festivals.
