The total semester credit hours required for a Bachelor of Arts - 4 years: Art (Art) is 120 sch. This option is designed for those students seeking a liberal arts degree with Art as a major. 

The programme

It is a 42 sch major (minimum of 24 sch at UT Permian Basin) with a minor (see catalog for minor choices and minor requirements) and gives students a broad based education in the visual arts. All Art majors are required to meet the visual arts core prior to taking upper-level courses. Students transferring to UT Permian Basin must also meet these requirements before taking junior and senior level Art courses.
