16 or older before the first day of class.
You must be a high school graduate.
You must prove English proficiency.
International applicants who are considered as a traditional freshman (graduated from high school less than 5 years ago) or considered as a freshman/transfer (graduated from high school less than 5 years ago and have less than 30 transferable college hours) must submit official SAT or ACT scores and meet traditional freshman criteria.
If you are required to complete Accuplacer testing, please note that the Accuplacer testing will need to be completed before an admissions decision is made. If you are located close to a UNG campus – you can complete this testing at UNG’s Dahlonega, Gainesville or Oconee campus. If you are located outside of Georgia or the US, please contact UNG’s Testing Center to schedule a remote Accuplacer test.
