The B.A. in Criminology and Philosophy at University of Lynchburg is intended for students who wish to have a working knowledge of the American criminal justice system, an understanding of the causes of criminal behavior, and a knowledge of the philosophical and moral underpinnings of the American criminal justice system.

Overview

The Criminology and Philosophy program offered by University of Lynchburg teaches students theories of the causes of criminal behavior and the basic features of the criminal justice system.

Our students will learn to identify, analyze, and critically reflect on the philosophical implications of different theories of criminal behavior and of the criminal justice system.
