Business processes play a role in just about any career field, from finance to fine art.

You will study the functional areas of business such as marketing, economics, finance, management and operations. Students also develop an understanding of the legal, social and ethical environment in which businesses operate. The broad course of study will prepare you for business administration careers in management in fields such as client relations, logistics, human resources, business analysis, operations.

The Big Picture

With a Business Administration degree at Maryville University you’ll be prepared to run your own business, become an entrepreneur or take on a leadership role in an organization.

You’ll also develop an understanding of the legal, social, and ethical environment in which businesses operate and how businesses impact their environment and plan and communicate a shared vision for the organization. International students must submit the following:
- Application for admission.
- Current Passport
- Official course-by-course transcript evaluation with GPA calculation from a NACES member evaluation service (naces.org) for all secondary transcripts outside the U.S. or Canda.
- Students mid-program should send the official in-progress course-by-course evaluation to Maryville. Upon graduation from secondary school, the final official transcript and/or diploma should be sent directly to Maryville.
- Proof of English proficiency. See below for requirements.
- Any other documentation required by a specific Maryville academic program.
