Overview
The Business Administration major from Champlain College provides you with a solid foundation in business principles and the flexibility to customize your degree through a minor, internships and electives.
Starting in your first semester, the Stiller School's hands-on approach allows you to explore how businesses function. Whether you aspire to work in a small company, a large corporation or a nonprofit, the combination of your intensive business education and extensive hands-on experience will place you in competitive demand upon graduation.
Integrated Business Experience
In addition to developing your expertise in business administration, the Robert P. Stiller School of Business not only prepares you exceptionally well but also gives you a four-year, cross-business education that answers the marketplace demand for business school graduates with demonstrable knowledge, skills and hands-on experience in all the disciplines that make up the field of business. Learn more about our Integrated Business Experience.
Small Class Sizes
Your classes in the Stiller School will never be in a giant lecture hall. In the Business Administration program, your largest class size will be 24 students, and the professors you have in your first semester are the same professors who teach advanced and specialized classes. You'll have the opportunity for one-on-one interactions and mentorship from your professors, who bring their real-world knowledge into the classroom.
Choose a Minor
The BSBA major is designed with plenty of electives courses to enable every student to select a minor that complements their business major. Choose from a growing list of minors to customize your college experience and build your unique personal brand. Many students choose to minor in Digital Marketing, Accounting, Data Science, Environmental Policy or Organizational Innovation, among others.
Become an Entrepreneur
We offer elective courses in entrepreneurship and small business management. If you're inspired to launch your first business while still a student, our Build Your Own Business (BYOBiz®) program will help you through the whole process, from developing your business plan to identifying potential funding sources and idea pitch competitions.
Study Abroad
You can choose to study at one of our international campuses in Montreal, Canada, or Dublin, Ireland, or nearly anywhere in the world through one of our third-party programs. Explore our study abroad options.
Freeman Foundation Grant
Over the past six years, The Robert P. Stiller School of Business has received a prestigious grant from the Freeman Foundation, allowing more than 100 students to travel to Shanghai, China, and other countries in Asia, to complete a summer internship. This opportunity provided our students with the chance to gain both international and professional work experience, as well as valuable cultural and language skills—with little out of pocket expense.
