Applicants must have graduated from an accredited senior high school or the equivalent. Course units from grades nine through twelve should include the following:
- 4 units in academic English
- at least 2 units (preferably 3 or more) in academic mathematics
- at least 2 units (preferably 3 or more) in academic natural science
- 2 or more units in academic social studies
- 2 or more units in foreign language
- 4 units in additional electives.
