Students in good standing and that are enrolled in courses or independent studies in the Printmaking program at Eastern Oregon University are given liberal access to all facilities related to the printmaking processes. While the printmaking philosophy at Eastern is progressive and experimental, emphasizing non-toxic material and integrating digital imaging, our model includes the best that traditional methods have to offer.

Key Facts

The main studio will allow three to four students to work simultaneously in comfort. There is a spacious work area next to the press room that is available during class and at other times for preparation work and drawing.

All of Eastern’s class sizes are small with a cap of 14 students in the printmaking courses. This unique situation provides consistency with one-on-one instruction and there is little competition for resources among students.

Eastern Oregon University and the art program faculty encourage students to take advantage of all that the facilities have to offer the development of their creative voices.

The equivalent to a standard U.S. high school diploma (modified, honorary, or other non-standard diplomas are not recognized).
A grade point average equivalent to 2.75 on the U.S. 4.00 scale. Official transcripts must be submitted in English. Transcripts should be evaluated by WES or another NACES-approved organization.
