The Sport Management degree program at Metropolitan State University of Denver has received specialized accreditation through the The Commission on Sport Management Accreditation located in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA. The Sport Management program in the following degrees are accredited by COSMA:

Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management

MSU Denver’s Sport Management program is the only program in Colorado, and one of only 32 Bachelors programs in the United States to achieve this accreditation. The accreditation is valid for seven years (2017-2024).

COSMA is a specialized accrediting body whose purpose is to promote and recognize excellence in sport management education worldwide. Programs, students, employers, and the general public all benefit from the external verification of quality provided through COSMA's accreditation process. They also benefit from the process of continuous quality improvement that is encouraged by COSMA's developmental approach to promoting excellence in sport management education.
