Overview
Mathematics students at Meredith College hone their skills and knowledge through a curriculum that incorporates calculus, statistics, theoretical mathematics, and applied mathematics.
Meredith offers both a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, as well as minors in Mathematics, Mathematics and Computer Applications, Statistics, and Web Development. We also offer the mathematics and methods courses for middle grades and secondary teacher licensure in mathematics in North Carolina. The Engineering Dual Degree program is a five-year program that allows students to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Meredith and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, or industrial engineering from North Carolina State University.

General requirements
- Complete fully and return the Meredith College application for admission, along with the $40 application fee.
- Have the appropriate school official(s) forward an official copy of the secondary-school record, complete with a listing of courses taken, grades obtained, credit received and rank in class; college or university transcript(s) if the student has taken any advanced work
- If the student’s native language or primary language of instruction is English, take the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) of The College Board.
- Send a school official recommendation and an academic teacher recommendation.
- Students who are submitting university transcripts must also provide an independent course-by-course evaluation
