Overview

The Management program at Pennsylvania Western University states that specialized work in management examines such topics as organizational behavior, business ethics, international business and more. The Organization Theory and Design course, for instance, takes a macro-view approach to the study of organizations and their functioning organizational control, culture and ethics, decision-making processes, power and politics.

In the business administration program, you will also develop quantitative, critical thinking and analytical skills. Students graduate not only with a demonstrated competence in their subject area, but also with the ability and tools to apply that knowledge.

Management occupations are projected to grow 6% through 2024, about as fast as the average for all occupations, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Employment growth will be driven by the formation of new organizations and the expansion of existing ones, requiring more qualified workers to manage these operations.
