The Architecture program of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is taught from a broad range of perspectives linking several common concerns: site and context, use and form, building methods and materials, design methodologies, and the role of the architect in a changing society and world. The undergraduate studio sequence begins with instruction in design fundamentals and continues with design projects on increasingly complexity

Careers

The four-year Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree is not accredited by the NAAB but is structured to provide a strong foundation for those pursuing the field of architecture as preparation for either continued education in a professional architecture degree program or related field such as landscape architecture, urban planning, visual arts, media arts and architecture or art history.
