The Department of Management, Marketing, & Logistics is home to the two largest undergraduate majors at Georgia College & State University.

A degree in Management prepares students to effectively manage resources, processes, and people. Management is the process of planning, organizing, developing, and controlling resources to maximize the effectiveness of an organization, but it is also the art of getting things done correctly.

Management is a universal process that requires technical and interpersonal skills that will apply to small businesses, large organizations, and more importantly to people. Management majors may choose from concentrations in logistics and supply chain or in human resources.

International applicants must document the following:

For new first-year students, the successful completion of the foreign equivalent of a U.S. college-preparatory high school program.

Transfer applicants with 30 or more earned semester credit hours must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (out of a 4.0 grading scale).

Applicants with no university transfer credit must submit SAT or ACT score results unless an SAT/ACT waiver is granted.

Sufficient financial support as specified on the applicant's Declaration of Finances.

Eligibility to continue enrollment at a current or previous academic institution (i.e. not on academic exclusion, suspension or dismissal).

English language proficiency.
