Students practice their craft in small workshops in which they develop their own voices as writers.

The English - Creative Writing program at Georgia College produces effective communicators, people whose skills are applicable in a wide range of careers, including writing, publishing, editing, media relations, and marketing.

For new first-year students, the successful completion of the foreign equivalent of a U.S. college-preparatory high school program.

Transfer applicants with 30 or more earned semester credit hours must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (out of a 4.0 grading scale).

Applicants with no university transfer credit must submit SAT or ACT score results unless an SAT/ACT waiver is granted.
