Overview
Welcome to the Department of Economics & Finance. They offer two majors and three minors: a B.S. in Economics, a B.S. in Finance and minors in Economics, Finance and Business Administration.
The Economics major at Georgia College offers three concentrations in Public Economics, Financial Economics and International Economics.

General requirements
International applicants must document the following:
- For new first-year students, the successful completion of the foreign equivalent of a U.S. college-preparatory high school program.
- Transfer applicants with 30 or more earned semester credit hours must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average (out of a 4.0 grading scale).
- Applicants with no university transfer credit must submit SAT or ACT score results unless an SAT/ACT waiver is granted.
- Sufficient financial support as specified on the applicant's Declaration of Finances.
- Eligibility to continue enrollment at a current or previous academic institution (i.e. not on academic exclusion, suspension or dismissal).
- English language proficiency.
