Learn to act from a place of authenticity in our series of Meisner classes, deepen your sense of play through improvisation, expand your physical and vocal choices through a progression of Alexander Technique for Camera and Voice and Speech classes. Go in depth in our script analysis and rehearsal techniques classes. Use your electives to study Stunts & Fights, Character Voices for Games, Animation & Cartoons, Accents & Dialects, or Comedy for Social Media. You will graduate with plenty of practice in professional audition technique and a reel of work that showcases your talents.

Our BFA and MFA Acting programs of Academy of Art University are designed with an in-depth focus on the development of technical, physical, and vocal skills that all great actors share, with extensive filming experience on our soundstages. Alongside this rigorous training, our actors also enjoy a range of elective classes like Fights & Stunts, Character Voices for Game, Animation & Cartoons, Comedy & Sketch, and Accents & Dialects. Actors have the opportunity to study film directing, screenwriting and filmmaking.
