Overview
The Environmental Studies Program at the University of Montevallo offers a major with either a B.A. or a B.S. degree, as well as a minor that can complement any other major on campus. The purpose of the program is to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes they will need as citizens and as members of the workforce to make informed decisions with respect to ecological issues.

General requirements
- Incoming freshmen must meet the 3.0 cumulative GPA requirement. Freshman applicants with less than a 3.0 GPA will be evaluated on a case by case basis.
- Submit the Online Application
- Pay the $30 non-refundable application fee
- Request official high school transcripts
- OPTIONAL: Submit ACT (code: 0004) or SAT (code: 1004) test scores
- Students taking AP, IB, CLEP or dual enrollment courses should have test scores submitted to the Office of Admissions or official transcripts from the university where the dual enrollment courses were completed.
