The Christian Studies program at the Grand Canyon University provides an intercultural component in contemporary theology and in leadership in the 21st century, preparing you for a variety of ministries.

Education

In addition to spiritual formation and exegetical skills essential to Christian studies, the program demonstrates how to employ communication, leadership and organizational skills necessary for effective ministry.

While earning a bachelor of Christian studies degree, you examine the history of Christianity and the development of Christian doctrine, as well as gain a deeper understanding of major contemporary religions of the world. Your study includes the major teachings of the Christian faith and the basic elements of Christian discipleship.

To be accepted for admission to Grand Canyon University's (GCU) campus or online undergraduate programs, you must submit acceptable high school or college transcripts to meet the admission requirements

Direct start applicants interested in attending GCU must meet one of the following requirements:

High School Graduate with an Unweighted GPA of 3.0+
High School Graduate with an Unweighted GPA of 2.5+ and Qualifying College Entrance Exam Score
GED and Transcript of All Credit-bearing Coursework
