General requirements
- Union accepts the Common Application and the Coalition Application.
- Standardized testing is optional (except for our combined law and medicine programs as well as home schooled students). Our school code for the SAT is 2920 and for the ACT our code is 2970.
- There are fall and winter Early Decision options, as well as Early Action and Regular Decision.
- Personal interviews are strongly encouraged.
- You're able to monitor the status of your application throughout the process in the Union Applicant Portal.
- There is no application fee.
- Apply online using the Common Application or the Coalition Application. Korean students who have taken the CSAT, please see CSAT Application requirements.
- Union is SAT/ACT optional but recommended for international students when available. Our institution code for the SAT is 2920. Our code for the ACT is 2970.
- TOEFL, IELTS or the Duolingo English Test (DET) is required for all applicants whose first language is not English.
