Overview
The faculty of the Agronomy - Horticulture program at the Northwest Missouri State University focuses on five core areas: greenhouse management and production; vegetable and fruit production methods; post-harvest technology along with food safety and local production issues; landscape, plants, design and maintenance; and sustainability in today’s horticulture industry.

Freshman admission for international students is evaluated on an individual basis. Admission is offered to students who possess academic qualifications equivalent to those required for domestic first-time freshmen.For comparison purposes, admission requirements for domestic first-time freshmen must include the following:

- A college-preparatory curriculum in secondary school, including courses in mathematics, science, language and social studies.
