General Requirements

  •  Only first time in college applicants are eligible. This means that at the time of application, the applicant has not earned any college credit except for dual enrollment.
  •  The minimum preferred GPA is a 3.7 either weighted or unweighted. If GPA is below a 3.7, in order to be considered, test scores must satisfy both the MDC College Ready requirements AND the additional test score requirements described below.
  • All applicants must be college ready pursuant to Miami Dade College’s standards as described in the chart below. Multiple test scores may be submitted from the ACT, SAT, and PERT to satisfy this requirement.
