Interested in teaching?
- The B.A. in English with a secondary education endorsement allows you to immediately become qualified to teach English on the secondary level.
- The ENFL Department also offers courses for students to minor in English.
Programme Structure
- English majors are required to complete 60 hours of general education classes, including four semesters of a foreign language, and 60 hours of English courses that cover both American and British literature.
- The program can be completed in 4 years, if the student follows the course curriculum. Those majors with a secondary education endorsement may need an extra semester to complete student teaching.
