Learning outcomes
The RN to BS program is an innovative, online program designed to be flexible for working nurses. The faculty provides the highest quality nursing education at an affordable price to help nurses achieve their goal of attaining a baccalaureate education. The program is offered on a semester basis, with three semesters of concentrated study. Flexible scheduling permits study for the most part on two days during the week.
Emphasis is on theory and skills applicable to health promotion and illness prevention; health assessment; clinical prevention and population health in community health nursing; bridging disparities; innovating healthcare; scholarship for evidence-based practice in research; healthcare policies and inter-professional collaboration in organizational leadership and management in nursing.
