Overview
Upon completion of this Accounting program, students will be able to:
- will know how to prepare, communicate and explain financial statements for profit and for non-profit enterprises.
- will demonstrate the ability to use accounting information to assist management in planning, controlling and decision making.
- will demonstrate the ability to use accounting data and statements to assure shareholders and other stakeholders that an organization’s financial data is accurate, ethical and presented in such a manner as to preclude fraud and/or misrepresentation.
- will understand and compute federal income taxes for individuals and other entities.
