Overview

At Studio Art and Pre-Art Therapy at Ohio Northern University we designed our BA in Studio Art and Pre-Art Therapy program to complement a minor or major in another academic area, such as psychology, creative writing, arts administration or museum studies. Our BFA program at Ohio Northern University, meanwhile, offers concentrations in 2-D or 3-D design, which allow you to explore your area of focus. In addition, we offer a pre-art therapy option if you want to help people understand themselves and their world through art. This flexible option allows you to minor in psychology and prepares you for graduate school.

The programme

Here, you’ll join a close-knit family of artists. From the time you arrive on campus until you graduate, you’ll be guided by the same faculty advisor. You’ll enjoy small class sizes and amazing friendships with your fellow art students. Our dedicated professors will get to know you. They will go above and beyond to develop you as an artist and professional.

Apply to Ohio Northern University at least three months before the intended date of enrollment in order to allow adequate time to apply for a non-immigrant student visa from your home country. To apply, please complete the University Application or Common Application, and submit the following supporting documents to the Office of International Admissions:
