Program Mission

The mission of the Supply Chain Management program from the Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania is to deliver student-focused and technology-driven pedagogy and content that meet and exceed the expectations of employers, professional SCM societies, and the academic discipline so graduates will be able to:

Manage supply chain resources, processes, and relationships to ensure effective and efficient satisfaction of each participant’s value proposition.

Integrate, synchronize, and manage the flows of materials, services, information, and capital from basic producers through the supply chain to end users.

Implement best practices consistent with supply chain principles and supported by analysis of critical metrics.

Apply decision-making processes using real-time analysis of data derived from enterprise systems to resolve supply chain weaknesses.

Lead within the cross-functional and inter-organizational reality of modern supply chains.

Compete for in-demand supply chain careers in global business environments.
