Overview
Studio Art students at Southern Connecticut State University enjoy personalized instruction and a wide variety of stimulating courses, from art history to art education. - assimilate knowledge by being able to make connections between art making and other diverse fields.
- communicate effectively orally and in writing about art to general and specialized audiences.
- demonstrate effective preparation and presentation of work with an understanding of basic professional practices in the field.

- Pay the non-refundable $50 application fee (payable online by debit card, credit card or e-check)
- Request that your official high school transcript from an accredited secondary school be sent directly to the Office of Admissions, Southern Connecticut State University. Digital submission is preferred.
- An official high school equivalency certificate such as the GED may be submitted instead of the high school transcript.
