Overview

Information Systems from Abilene Christian University will challenge and equip you to engage in these efforts. ACU’s curriculum combines business management with technology--the analytical and technical.

This combination prepares you to manage systems and analyze data with a deep understanding of how these processes affect organizations at every level. The BS Information Systems program will also develop critical thinking, leadership and communication skills that will help you grow in your career, whether you want to develop software or pursue advanced studies in the field.

As a Bachelor of Information Systems student at ACU, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of productive learning experiences. Our AACSB-International accredited program can help you develop your problem-solving skills in both business and technical areas, providing a springboard into dynamic career opportunities. This is a more unique feature at ACU because the School of Information Technology and Computing is housed within the College of Business and Technology; this allows information systems students the unique opportunity to have access to both programs within the same college.  Additionally, as an IS student, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of productive learning experiences.
