Often, interior designers will specialize in more than one area of design such as corporate office, healthcare, closets and systems, furniture/ergonomics, kitchen and bath, or designing for the hearing or visually impaired—just to name a few!

Your Interior Design program at Andrews University takes four years plus one summer course to complete the Bachelor of Interior Design. You will learn sound thinking, practical skills and rigorous scholarship in the discipline of interior design.

General requirements
- You must have a high school GPA of 2.75* or higher (or a GED College-Ready or GED College Ready + Credit certificate).
- Test scores are not required, however high school juniors may be eligible for early admission with a PSAT composite score of 1100 or higher and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 after the first semester.
- English is the language of instruction at Andrews University. International and domestic prospective students whose language of education is not English must submit English Proficiency test scores.
We encourage a strong high school curriculum including:
- 4 years of English
- 3 years of History/Social Studies
- 3 years of Science with lab
- 3 years of Math (Algebra I and higher)
