Overview

Graduates of the Engineering - Chemical Engineering Concentration program at Andrews University will demonstrate the ability to:

Identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by applying principles of engineering, science, and mathematics.
Apply engineering design to produce solutions that meet specified needs with consideration of public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.
Communicate effectively with a range of audiences.
Recognize ethical and professional responsibilities in engineering situations and make informed judgements, which must consider the impact of engineering solutions in global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts.
Function effectively on a team whose members together provide leadership, create a collaborative and inclusive environment, establish goals, plan tasks, and meet objectives.
Develop and conduct appropriate experimentation, analyze and interpret data, and use engineering judgement to draw conclusions.

Acquire and apply new knowledge as needed, using appropriate learning strategies.

General requirements

You must have a high school GPA of 2.75* or higher (or a GED College-Ready or GED College Ready + Credit certificate).

Test scores are not required, however high school juniors may be eligible for early admission with a PSAT composite score of 1100 or higher and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 after the first semester.

English is the language of instruction at Andrews University. International and domestic prospective students whose language of education is not English must submit English Proficiency test scores.

We encourage a strong high school curriculum including:
