Overview
The Theatre Arts Performance program of Bradley University develops your talent through a series of courses focused on acting. In addition to acting, you gain a background in directing and production. Once you audition and are admitted to the program, a freshman showcase puts you in the spotlight during your first semester. After that, you participate in several major productions each year. Away from the classroom stage, you can participate in a student-run improv troupe and other theatre-focused student organizations. The theatre arts program also offers a general degree and a concentration in production.
Successful Outcomes
Bradley’s theatre arts program successfully prepares you for a career in the industry. In recent years, all students found jobs within six months of graduation. They’re interning or working at theatres such as Chicago Shakespeare, Steppenwolf and the Williamstown Theatre Festival.
