A Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Andrews University is a starting point for career success. All businesses—from small businesses and giant corporations to hospitals and government offices—employ accounting professionals to help maintain their day-to-day operations.

After graduation, become an accountant, auditor, budget analyst, healthcare administrator or financial analyst or use your BBA as a stepping stone to becoming a certified public accountant, certified internal auditor or certified management accountant to increase your marketability.

Internship Opportunities

Enhance your resume by joining one of our business student organizations such as ENACTUS, the Financial Management Association, our Accounting Club, or the Dean’s Student Advisory Council which plans fun events like banquets and vespers.

An internship can be an excellent way to get experience as well as a foot in the door to a potential future employer. Internships help you put into practice the information and knowledge you are taught here in the classroom.

You’ll have lots of opportunities at the School of Business Administration. Our students have interned at places like Adventist Health Systems, Kettering Health Network, JP Morgan, Whirlpool and Crowe (plus many more).

General requirements

You must have a high school GPA of 2.75* or higher (or a GED College-Ready or GED College Ready + Credit certificate).

Test scores are not required, however high school juniors may be eligible for early admission with a PSAT composite score of 1100 or higher and a cumulative GPA of 3.25 after the first semester.

English is the language of instruction at Andrews University. International and domestic prospective students whose language of education is not English must submit English Proficiency test scores.

We encourage a strong high school curriculum including:
