The Chemistry program from Auburn University at Montgomery it’s central to the natural sciences and provides an excellent background for many different careers. You can work as a forensic scientist, in an industry or government lab, in hazardous waste management or for a business in sales and marketing. And our Chemistry major is great preparation for professional health degrees, such as medicine or pharmacology. With its low student-professor ratio, AUM offers you plenty of opportunities to strap on your own goggles and do hands-on research.

A completed AUM online application; no application fee.
Your official high school transcript (which should be mailed or e-mailed directly to AUM from your high school) and official English translation if your transcript is not in English.
Proof of English proficiency (unless you are exempt). You can take the TOEFL IBT (minimum 61 points), the IELTS (minimum 5.5 points), PTE (minimum 44), or the TOEFL PBT (minimum 500 points). More information about English proficiency test requirements.
Proof of sufficient financial resources (Bank statement and/or letter from your sponsor in English). The bank statement should show at least $28,625 available.
