A special emphasis of the Psychology program at Cambridge College is examining the roles of culture, history, and belief in shaping the study of human behavior. Graduates will be prepared for professional roles in a wide range of clinical, educational, and human services careers. The program also provides a strong foundation for more specialized study at the graduate level.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment of psychologists is projected to grow 14 percent from 2016 to 2026, faster than the average for all occupations. Clinical, counseling, and school psychologists are among the fastest growing jobs, with greater demand for psychological services in schools, hospitals, mental health centers, and social service agencies driving employment growth.

Graduates are prepared for a variety of careers in clinical, educational, human service and management settings, and research. They are also well positioned to enter graduate studies in psychology, counseling, social work, and related fields.
