About

Prepare for a career or graduate-level education in psychology with the Psychology program of Endicott College.

Overview

As a major in the Psychology program of Endicott College, you'll explore a wide variety of topics as you delve into the effects of biology and environment on human behavior.

The psychology program's emphasis on the scientific study of individual and collective behavior, the social and cultural basis of behavior, and the analysis and treatment of behavior problems and disorders makes it ideal for students to move into any career associated with psychology, like:
  • Counseling
  • Therapy
  • Research
  • Community Management

In addition to the career areas mentioned above, our program will also prepare students for numerous careers outside of the field.

Coursework is engaging and ranges from child development to aging and adulthood as well as includes psychological disorders and counseling techniques. You will receive a strong foundation and theoretical perspective, research methods, and statistics, which will prepare you to contribute to the expanding field by collaborating with faculty on research projects, developing your own original questions, and pursuing your interests in advanced graduate study.

An Endicott education means you'll graduate with a degree and a resume.

Psychology majors go on to pursue careers in counseling settings, within social service and nonprofit organizations, research laboratories, hospitals, and corporate and educational settings. Additionally, you will be fully prepared to continue your education in graduate school within psychology, education, law, or social work.
