This interdisciplinary major in Gender and Women’s Studies is designed to develop a broad understanding of the study of gender and women, investigate women's contributions in all areas of academic scholarship, and explore the relationship between cultural definitions of feminine and masculine behaviors and the realities of women's and men's lives.   • Submit transcripts: Mail all official college/university and secondary school transcripts (transfer applicants) or just your secondary school transcript (freshmen) to SUNY Oswego
  • Send in your English proficiency test scores: uccessful applicants will have a minimum English proficiency of 71 in TOEFL, 6.0 in IELTS, or 55 in PTE. 
  • Provide financial documentation: Send a copy of an original bank statement including a bank official's signature and stamp evidencing sufficient funds for the first year via email to the International Student and Scholar Services Office
