Overview

The Accounting program of Siena College is the first step toward CPA certification. Continuing on to earn your M.S. in Accounting will help you meet the 150 semester hours required to sit for the CPA exam in New York State, as well as other professional certifications.

General Requirements

  • Complete an online application
  • Send all transcripts and school results from each secondary school and post-secondary school that you have attended
  • Submit a personal essay of 1-2 pages describing your interest in Siena College and your goals for studying in the United States
  • Submit one letter of recommendation
  • The SAT and ACT are optional
  • Non-native English speakers are required to submit an English proficiency score from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) examination or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
