The Art program is offered by Florida Gulf Coast University is designed to support the student seeking a B.A. degree in Art with a solid core of foundational skills; the flexibility to pursue and define a clear personal direction towards a career in the creative industries; and intensive upper-level experiences designed to launch careers in the visual arts and related fields.

Following graduation, our students support regional companies in marketing and sales through print, online and media promotion or they have launched their own successful businesses making and selling their work.

Graduates with B.A. in Art from Florida Gulf Coast University will be able to:

Synthesize the technical skills necessary to produce completed work in the student's chosen media or discipline.

Plan, Develop, and execute a coherent project appropriate to their area of study.

Analyze and evaluate the history of their chosen media or discipline.
