2D Media Highlights

The Art - 2D Media program of Weber State University offers a great deal of faculty engagement and mentorship, along with extensive studio practice and courses in art history and theory.

Weber State features the work of BFA majors annually in the BFA Thesis Exhibit.

What You’ll Learn at Weber

The 2D media program encourages you to develop your own personal vision and independent voice, as you explore a range of techniques and theoretical perspectives.

You may specialize or diversify your area of study in painting, drawing and printmaking.

What You Can Do After Weber

While graduates may find employment as exhibiting painters, portrait artists or printmakers, as a visually literate, innovative thinker, your background prepares you to address the contemporary demands of many different fields.

This degree is often a prerequisite for admission to a Master of Fine Arts program.
