Scientific minds excel in filtering information and finding relationships. As a biology education major at IUP, you’ll find that teaching and science are brought together in a way unsurpassed by other schools.

We offer a program degree in Biology Education at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. IUP’s Biology Department has the academic size and diversity to give you the opportunities found at larger research institutions while also providing you with the personal and intimate learning community found at smaller liberal arts colleges.

Some career options for graduates with biology expertise are health department official, drinking water plant operator, environmental protection official, laboratory director, laboratory technician, environmental consultant, industrial hygienist, safety supervisor, and food safety specialist. From biomolecules to biomes, IUP is the place to study biology.
