Overview

Key Features

Musicianship training has played an essential role for many, if not most, successful producers. Through study in music, electronics and acoustics, you will develop the skills and knowledge necessary to work in the professional audio industry.

Music Production and Technology applicants at University of Hartford are required to interview with a faculty member of the department. This is the chance for the applicant to meet face to face with a member of the MPT faculty to discuss the program and a career in music production. It is also a chance for the faculty member to learn more about the applicant’s musical and technical background as well as his/her motivation for entering the field. While significant, previous recording experience is not necessary, some evidence of research and awareness of the field is expected.
