At the undergraduate level, Southeastern Louisiana University offers a traditional degree Nursing program, an accelerated option for students with a prior bachelor's degree, an LPN to RN, and RN to BSN options. Specialty concentrations are available for advanced practice at the master's level, as well as preparation at the highest level of nursing practice with the DNP.

General Requirements

To be eligible for full admission to Southeastern, international beginning freshmen students must meet ALL of the following criteria:Must have completed a recognized secondary school program with a minimum Grade Point Average of 2.35.Must have taken the TOEFL or IELTS *:

  • Minimum TOEFL scores required - 500 paper-based, 173 computer-based, and 61 internet based
