As an Interior Design student at the University of Central Missouri, you will learn and experience design from creative faculty who are attuned to contemporary issues in the field. Both aesthetic and technical experiences are studied in order to solve creative problems and to enhance the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

Overview

Our graduates find employment with a variety of residential and commercial design and design related businesses in Missouri and around the United States. Recent employers include Nest Interiors, Hollis & Miller Architecture, BRR Architecture, Hoefer Wysocki, and Freedom Companies.

We offer a bachelor degree in Interior Design at the University of Central Missouri. The CIDA-accredited program prepares students for entry-level interior design practice, for advanced study, and to apply for membership in professional organizations. 

The Interior Design Bachelor of Fine Arts degree granted by the University of Central Missouri meets the requirements for eligibility to sit for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification Examination (NCIDQ Exam).
