As an environmental science major, you will investigate the physical, biological, geographical and policy aspects of the natural environment to gain insight into ways that life on earth can continue to thrive. Along the way you'll confront related issues: environmental justice and ethics, food security, species diversity and extinction, water availability, sustainable consumption, climate change.

          Academic Requirements

          You need the following GPA score:

          Required score: 2

          Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on a 4.0 scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

          Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

          • Secondary school report: Your guidance counselor will submit the secondary school report along with an official high school transcript, which will give us a picture of your academic career.
          • Teacher evaluation form: This must be from a teacher in a traditional academic area such as mathematics, science, foreign language, English, social science or academic elective.
          • SAT/ACT scores, if you choose to submit (Clark is a test-optional school).
