The Music Performance program of Kutztown University provides preparation for students aspiring to take their place on the stage, to teach in private or community music settings, or to work collaboratively in the vast field of the performing arts. Students have the opportunity to study with professional musicians who are making a living as performers, recording artists, and composers. Perform on-campus, regionally in a variety of venues, and take your talents to the top in places like the famed Carnegie Hall.

Career Opportunities

Graduates may pursue a career in a wide variety of musical fields such as freelance or ensemble performer, private lesson teacher, accompanist, music producer, conductor, composer/arranger, and stage manager. Many students also continue their music studies at the graduate level.

Pay the $35 USD Application Fee in the application portal

Submit Proof of English Proficiency.

Send an official high school transcript to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. High school transcripts must be sent directly from the high school. GED results must be sent directly from the Department of Education.
